How We Got Here
We’re Josh and Zach — the duo fueling the flavor journey at Always Something Farm. Since our Wisconsin winters were a bit too harsh, we found our way to the welcoming Calaveras County foothills in April 2015. Fast forward to June 2019, and we nervously set up our first farmers’ market table in Murphys, CA, with big dreams of growing fresh produce and crafting the tastiest hot sauces around.
The years since have been a rollercoaster of trial and error — many errors — but with that a constant pursuit of growth and improvement. With each season we’ve learned more and gotten a bit better. It’s been a long strange trip!
2025 was our best market season yet — our seventh year at the Murphys Farmers Market alongside markets in West Point, the town we call home. As we recovered from the whirlwind of that season, we fermented and bottled over 1,000 bottles of sauce. Heading into 2026 — Year 8 — we’re setting our sights higher: more produce, more sauce, more of everything you’ve been asking for.
Your love and support mean the world to us. Join us for Year 8 and this next chapter of growth and flavor exploration!
